Delete Your CPR360 Account
Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-10-07
This page explains how to delete your account in CPR360, the CPR guidance and AED-finder app for iPhone, iPad, and Android. It applies to the app on both the App Store and Google Play. On Google Play, CPR360 is published under the developer name Arnav Talreja.
You only have an account if you signed in. The CPR metronome, voice guidance, AED map, and Learn work without one. If you never signed in, we hold no account for you, and deleting the app removes everything CPR360 stored on your phone.
Ask us to delete your account — no app needed
Email hearthealthdata@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my CPR360 account”. Please include:
- The email address on your CPR360 account. That’s the address your sign-in
provider gave us:
- Signed in with Google: your Google account’s email address.
- Signed in with Apple: the email you shared with CPR360. If you chose
Hide My Email, it’s an
@privaterelay.appleid.comaddress. You can find it on your iPhone under Settings → [your name] → Sign in with Apple → CPR360.
- Which one you used to sign in: Apple or Google.
Send it from that address if you can. If you can’t (for example, it’s a relay address), we may reply to confirm the request before acting on it. That stops someone else from deleting your account.
Timeline. We confirm we’ve received your request, then delete the account within 30 days. Usually it’s much sooner. We email you when it’s done. The deletion itself is the same one the in-app button performs, described below.
Or delete it in the app
- Open CPR360 and sign in, if you aren’t already.
- On the Home screen, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner (your initials in a circle) to open Profile, then tap Settings.
- Under ACCOUNT, tap Delete account, then confirm Delete account.
If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more. CPR360 uses that confirmation to revoke its Sign in with Apple access. Deletion runs right away, and you’re signed out.
What gets deleted
All of these are permanently deleted as soon as your account is deleted:
- Your sign-in account. That includes your email address, and the name and profile-picture link your sign-in provider shared with us, if it shared them.
- Your contributor profile. That includes your display name, your contribution counts, and your record of accepting the Community Terms.
- Your reputation and trust record for AED contributions.
- Your reactions and likes on Community posts.
- Your block list. That covers people you blocked and blocks involving you.
- Your notification record and any related settings.
What we keep, and for how long
Some things you contributed are kept in anonymized form, so they’re no longer linked to you or your account. They stay because other people rely on them in an emergency, or because we need them for safety. Nothing below is deleted on a timer.
| What | Why it stays | How long |
|---|---|---|
| AEDs you registered, with their location, access details, and photos | So people can still find that defibrillator in an emergency | Shown on the map while the AED is listed. Kept indefinitely after that: an AED taken off the map stays as a hidden record, and we don’t delete AED records or photos automatically. |
| Your “Still here” checks and missing-AED reports, with their evidence photos (seen only by moderators) | They show whether each AED on the map is current | Kept indefinitely. We don’t delete these or their photos automatically. |
| Community posts and comments you wrote, shown as “[deleted]” | So conversations other people took part in stay readable | Shown until the post is removed. Kept indefinitely after that: removed posts stay stored and hidden. |
| Posts and comments you deleted earlier | Deleting one hides it from everyone, but a copy stays on our servers for moderation and safety | Kept indefinitely, unless you ask us to erase it (see below) |
| Reports you made about Community content | Moderation and safety | Kept indefinitely. We don’t delete these automatically. |
| Moderation records (what was reported or removed, and the action taken) | Safety and preventing abuse | Kept indefinitely. We don’t delete these automatically. They may contain your old account’s random ID number, which no longer points to any account. |
Copies held by our service providers:
- Crash reports (Sentry). We configure Sentry not to receive your identity, account, or location. Crash reports may include your device model and OS version. They expire under Sentry’s retention schedule.
- Push notifications (OneSignal). OneSignal keeps a record for your app installation. When you delete your account in the app (or sign out), the app clears the link between that record and your account. An email deletion request can’t reach your phone, so that link stays until you sign out, delete the app, or reinstall. In either case, we don’t currently erase OneSignal’s own record. Deleting the app removes the identifier from your phone.
- Our database host’s routine system logs and backups expire on its own schedule.
If you signed in with Google, CPR360 doesn’t hold any Google access token on its servers, so there’s nothing for us to revoke. You can also remove CPR360 from your Google Account at any time, under Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services (https://myaccount.google.com/connections).
Data on your phone isn’t part of your account. Your emergency contacts, the date of birth you entered for the Community age check, and the saved AED map never reach our servers. Deleting your account doesn’t touch them. Deleting the app removes them. While you’re signed in, you can also edit or clear your emergency contacts in Profile → Settings.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You can do most of this yourself in the app:
- A post or comment: tap ⋯ on it, then Delete. That hides it from everyone right away. A copy stays on our servers, as explained above.
- A reaction or like: tap it again to undo it.
- Your display name: change it in Profile.
- Someone you blocked: go to Profile → Settings → Blocked members.
- Your emergency contacts: they’re stored only on your phone. While signed in, clear them in Profile → Settings and tap Save contacts. Deleting the app also removes them.
- Community AI screening permission: withdraw it in Profile → Settings → Community AI screening.
To have us do it instead, email hearthealthdata@gmail.com with the subject “CPR360 data request”. Include your account email and say what you’d like removed. For example:
- Erase posts or comments for good. We’ll erase ones you’ve already deleted.
- Remove a photo or an AED you registered. If an AED is still a working defibrillator that people may need, we may keep the AED pin but remove your photo or details. We’ll tell you if that happens.
We handle these requests on the same 30-day timeline. We may keep a record if it’s part of an open report or moderation action. If we do, we’ll tell you.
